Andy Howell has absolutely no formal education in film studies. His opinions are likely to be based on things like "feelings" and "opinions" without reference to any actual principles of cinematography or film study. He says he simply likes watching movies. He also is a little bit of a "know-it-all," and he is a self-described curmudgeon. Andy has strong opinions about lawyer movies (because he thinks he is one), and he does not seem especially fond of most comic book movies (which will make discussing sequels very fun for him). He also enjoys kayaking, rock climbing, cycling, mountain biking and playing softball. He has a wonderful family, and he lives in Utah. Andy also writes for the Considering the Cinema blog, where he discusses unusual films.
